Date of Birth: 9th April 1986 Leighton Meester was born on the 9th of April 1986 on Marco Island, Florida. Her father's name is Doug Meester. She has an older brother, Douglas Logan Meester, and a younger brother. Her mother, Connie, is her manager. When Leighton was 8 her 5-month-old brother was diagnosed with a brain tumour. He was treated successfully. Leighton attended Tommie Barfield Elementary School on Marco Island, Florida and Seacrest Country Day School in Naples, Florida. Leighton moved to New York with her mother when she was 11 and was signed by Wilhelmina Models. In 2000 she moved to Los Angeles to further her acting career and joined Abrams Artists, a well-respected agency. Leighton is also a published poet. Leighton played "Nicki Porter", a recurring character in the WB series Tarzan. She also starred as "Elisha Springfield" in the film Hangman's Curse. She had a recurring role in the Fox Network's 24 as "Debbie Pendleton" and played "Ali" on two episodes of Fox's House. Leighton has also had a recurring role as "Megan" on CBS's Shark. She has recently starred in several films, as "Josie" in Inside, "Lucy" in Flourish and "Mackenzie Carpenter" in the comedy-horror Drive-Thru.
